It has gotten COLD here this week! brrrr. We don't get much snow here apparently, but we HAVE been getting a lot of the slush-type rain. It's delightful. and wet. Good thing I packed my down ski jacket and lots of extra winter gear!
Summary of the week: I got food poisoning on Sunday evening. Ick. Moral of this story: Don't eat meatballs in Belgium. I think mine were undercooked. ewww. Things got much better when I went into the touristy area of Belgium yesterday and got free samples of chocolate in every single one of the chocolate stores. Chocolate here is SO GOOD!!! I will be bringing A LOT of it back home w/ me to the states (and will probably bring some back as gifts. get excited!) Spent the afternoon perusing the stores around Brussels (the sales all end after this week, so its a bit picked-over at this point).
Other than that, nothing to report but class and homework. I WILL however be visiting Bruges this weekend, so I'll make sure to leave a full description afterwards!
