Day 1 (sort of)

Today, we arrived at the airport only to realize that my flight was cancelled. woops. A potential snowstorm in London (where I was supposed to connect) meant all flights into Heathrow were cancelled. I'm trying again tomorrow-- maybe I'll have better luck connecting through JFK. Wish me luck!

I spent the rest of the day developing this blog (which I affectionately named "Belgain Waffles" in hopes that I'll have many opportunities to eat tons of delicious waffles while I'm in Brussels), watching KU lose to Tennessee in basketball (terrible) and watching "Gran Torino" (not too bad).

Now I should go to bed, but I'm looking forward to sharing all of my crazy European adventures while I'm in Belgium for the next 4 months!

    sooooo Nova is not the same without you even though I never see you this early in the morning anyway ha. Rehearsal tonight won't be the same without you i'm sure :(

    make sure to eat some tasty waffles when you actually get there and CHOCOLATE (Maureen's idea not mine, sadly I don't know how I didn't think of it first lol)
